Call the Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) of Tarrant County during normal business hours between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

After the initial confidential interview, the staff person will assign an attorney for the referral. The staff person will give you the attorney's name and contact information.
After the referral, you can contact the attorney for a consultation in the office or over the phone. For a $20 consultation fee, you are entitled to a 30 minute consultation. During the consultation you can discuss the problem with the attorney. You can also talk with the attorney about the attorney fees needed for additional services.
