Rhode Island Bar Association

Founded in 1898, the Rhode Island Bar Association works to uphold and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and the Constitution and laws of Rhode Island. It promotes the administration of justice while upholding the honor and dignity of the process of law. The Rhode Island Bar Association is the unified (mandatory) bar association of the U.S. state of Rhode Island.

From its offices in Providence, RI, the Rhode Island Bar Association manages a Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) that helps the public find a qualified attorney. When a person calls the service, the person will be referred to a qualified attorney experienced in the needed practice area of the law.
