AAJ Statement on Biden Administration Judicial Nominations

Washington, DC — The following is a statement from American Association for Justice (AAJ) CEO Linda Lipsen on the slate of nominations for the federal judiciary announced today:
"As trial attorneys, our members work to ensure that workers, survivors, and consumers have the right to seek justice, even when up against the most powerful interests. Therefore, we are pleased to see the nominations of Judge Jane M. Beckering, Chief Judge Shalina D. Kumar and Jennifer Sung to the federal bench. With diverse experience and civil justice backgrounds, these three women understand the importance of all people having equal access to justice under the law."
