AAJ Statement on Congress Protecting Workers and Patients from Dangerous Corporate Immunity Proposal

Washington, DC — The following is a statement from American Association for Justice CEO Linda Lipsen in response to Congress passing COVID-19 relief legislation:
"We have lost 300,000 Americans to COVID-19, and countless more are struggling to pay rent or buy food. We commend those lawmakers who have realized that much-needed relief can be provided to the American people without the immoral tradeoff of providing immunity to corporations when they irresponsibly put workers, patients, and consumers in danger."
