AAJ Statement on Senator Lindsey Graham

Washington, DC — American Association for Justice CEO Linda Lipsen issued the following statement on the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC):
"South Carolina, and the nation, have lost a devoted public servant in Senator Lindsey Graham. Our opinions may have differed on some issues, but he was a true champion of the 7th Amendment right to trial by jury and his leadership was critical to the enactment of the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment law. My condolences go out to his family, loved ones, colleagues, and staff during this difficult time."
  ###  The  American Association for Justice  works to safeguard rights, promote fairness, and strengthen access to civil justice—even when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.  AAJ’s vision is justice for all.
