Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association

The Capital City Trial Lawyers Association - Sacramento ("CCTLA") was founded in the early 1950s. The CCTLA serves personal injury attorneys in Sacramento, as well as plaintiffs attorneys throughout Sacramento County.

The CCTLA provides its members with a more unified voice to the courts and legislature, quality continuing legal education seminars and networking opportunities. Many of the top personal injury attorneys in Sacramento have joined and actively participate in CCTLA.

The CCTLA is a local affiliate organization of the Consumer Attorneys of California.

Benefits of Membership in CCTLA

The benefits of joining CCTLA - Sacramento include:

Membership Dues to Join CCTLA

To join CCTLA you must return the membership application and check to CCTLA. The required dues are listed as:

  • $500 SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP - Includes:
    • Membership dues and attendance at all CCTLA Luncheons,
    • CCTLA Problem Solving Clinics, CCTLA Seminars and
    • CCTLAICAOC Seminars. (Does not include Tahoe Seminar).
  •  $150 Attorney in practice for more than 5 years
  • $75 Attorney in practice 5 years or less
  • $25 Paralegal Law Clerk
  • Free- First-year admittee

Applicants must certify that they are in good standing with the State Bar of California or associated with an attorney or law firm and that they are primarily engaged in the prosecution of plaintiff's personal injury, consumer, or employment actions or workers' compensation applicant's claims, or the defense of criminal actions.

Members must also certify that they do not work for any insurance companies or engage in insurance defense practice.
