The main CAALA events include:

• CAALA's Annual Las Vegas Convention - The annual convention has been held each year in Las Vegas since 1983. The event has up to 2,800 attendees and over 140 legal service exhibit booths. Attorneys earn up to 20 hours of continuing education. Seminar speakers include many of the most accomplished trial lawyers, jurists and experts covering a wide variety of practice areas and latest developments in trial advocacy. 
• Plaintiff Trial Academy (PTA) - Open to Civil Trial College for CAALA Attorney Members only, it program includes 6 weeks of intensive training taught by a faculty of accomplished trial lawyers teaching advanced techniques in trial preparation and trial practice.
