When appropriate, you will be referred to a local attorney who is qualified in the needed practice area.
The referrals are made on a rotating basis within each subject matter panel. The service can take into consideration geographical and language requirements in making the referral.
The referral is made in exchange for a $35 consultation fee that helps cover the costs of the service. After the referral, you can contact the attorney for a 30 minute consultation at no additional charge. During the consultation, you can discuss your legal concern with the attorney and the attorney fees needed for additional representation.
Participating attorneys serve on various subject matter panels depending on their interest and experience in a particular practice area of the law. The attorneys are pre-screened to make sure that the attorney is an active member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association and the Snohomish County Bar Association.
Attorney are not permit to serve on the panel if he or she has ever been disbarred or suspended from the practice of law pursuant to the Rules for Lawyer Discipline (RLD) as established by the Supreme Court of Washington.
