Sales and Marketing Consultant - (United States)

Lawyer Legion is currently seeking remote Marketing Consultants to assist with our national sales team. These individuals will be responsible for reaching out to lawyers all over the United States and helping us build relationships with new users, subscribers, potential clients, nonprofit organizations and law firms. This position is remote, work-from-home, independent contractor position, commission only. Must be located within the United States. Commission is 10% for project-based sales and 25% for subscription-based sales. Project-based sales range in value from $36,000 to $250,000. Subscription-based sales range in value from $50 to $500 and can be sold in high-volume very quickly.

  • Starting Pay: Commission Only10% commission on project-based sales - 25% commission on subscription-based sales
  • Advancement Opportunities available after 90 days: Top performing consultants will be a offered full-time, remote, work-from-home employment position with full benefits including: 401k with 4% match, health, dental, vision, PTO accrual, Paid Holidays, etc.


  • Utilize our national lawyer database to generate warm leads
  • Deploye email marketing campaigns
  • Create email marketing content
  • Build relationships with law firms and nonprofit associations
  • Qualify new leads by working intake and consulting with prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close 5 and 6-figure contracts with law firms for longterm online marketing campaigns
  • Utilize inside sales and outside sales skills to build a consistent sales funnel
  • Attend company sponsored legal association seminars and conferences across the country
  • Create and modify sales and marketing materials
  • Schedule online meetings and conference calls with prospective clients
  • Utilize social media to acquire new subscribers
  • Utilize email marketing and social media to increase user base
  • Make decisions about how to best deploy successful marketing strategies 
  • Contact law firms by cold calling, emailing and direct messaging through social media channels

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1+ years of sales and marketing experience (b2b)
  • 1+ years of experience with online marketing
  • Prior experience in the legal marketing industry preferred

Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent “people skills” and persuasive abilities
  • Savvy with LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Savvy with networking and well-connected to relevant contacts
  • Experience with cold-calling and tele-sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Knowledge of the legal industry and/or online marketing industry is a plus
