Michigan Legal Organizations

The State Bar of Michigan is a public body corporate that aids in promoting improvements in the administration of justice and advancements in jurisprudence, in improving relations between the legal profession and the public, and in promoting the interest of the legal profession in this State. All lawyers licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan must be members of the State Bar of Michigan. The State Bar of Michigan does not have a role in Michigan's attorney discipline system.
