Mission and History

The Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) is a statewide membership association of approximately 1,200 attorneys. Members of MATA are dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals to pursue justice when they are injured.

MATA provides its members with legal education seminars and networking opportunities. MATA also compiles research on key legal topics and represents its membership in the Missouri General Assembly by advocating for individual rights to seek justice through the Missouri Courts and Workers’ Compensation system.

Members of MATA include many of the top personal injury attorneys in Missouri.
