The Maine Trial Lawyers Association serves as a professional organization for Maine personal injury lawyers and other attorneys who represent plaintiffs, assisting them with continuing legal education (CLE) and other tools to help improve their practices. The MLTA also advocates for improved access to justice and the right to a trial by jury.
The Maine Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) was established in 1963 as a state affiliate of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Headquartered in Augusta, Maine, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association provides training, education, and networking opportunities to attorneys throughout the state fighting for justice for individuals and consumers in an adversarial system.
