Founded in 1954, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) is a professional legal association dedicated to preserving the rights of individuals against powerful corporations and the negligence of others.

Today, the CTLA membership has grown to more than 1,300 of Connecticut's top civil trial lawyers focused on personal injury, medical malpractice, product safety, nursing home abuse, and insurance bad faith claims. The CTLA is headquartered in Hartford, CT, but the organization serves attorneys throughout the state of Connecticut.

The CTLA is part of the Connecticut Civil Justice Foundation (CJF). Members of CTLA enjoy deep discounts at CLE seminars, access to publications, and networking opportunities with many of the most active and successful Connecticut personal injury lawyers. CTLA organizes more than 15 events every year.
