Washington, DC: August 4, 2020: The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) today announced a milestone, reaching over 200,000 downloads of its weekly podcast series ACTEC Trust and Estate Talk. The series shares the expertise of ACTEC Fellows who provide best practice advice, insights and commentary on subjects relevant to trust and estate and wealth management professionals.
ACTEC Trust and Estate Talk launched February 20, 2018, featuring What should attorneys have in their Engagement Letters. Yesterday's episode, Modernizing Section 6166, will be the College's 163rd podcast. Subjects have ranged from new legislation, such as the SECURE Act, to electronic wills to deep-dive topics like Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs).
Each podcast is embedded on a webpage, transcribed, and linked to content mentioned by speakers. Followers of the series appreciate the online content, as evidenced in more than 225,000 page views on The ACTEC Foundation website.

ACTEC Trust and Estate Talk's weekly podcasts are available to listeners on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Spotify and Player FM. Initiated as a project of ACTEC's Communications Committee and funded by a grant from The ACTEC Foundation, ACTEC Trust and Estate Talk's content is a snapshot of hot topics presented during national ACTEC meetings.
