ACTEC Elects Six New Members to the Board of Regents

Washington, DC, March 20, 2024: The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) today announced that six new Regents were elected to its Board of Regents during the College's Annual Business Meeting, held in Phoenix, Arizona, on Friday, March 8, 2024. ACTEC's Board of Regents is the governing body of the College.

Past President (2021-2022) Ann B. Burns chaired the 2024 Nominating Committee, with members: Brad Bedingfield, Professor Gerry W. Beyer, Lora L. Brown, Andrea C. Chomakos, Robert W. Goldman, Elizabeth Holland Hutchins, Sarah Moore Johnson, Benetta Y. Park, and Douglas Stanley. The Committee nominated six Fellows to fill existing vacancies.

Nominees elected for an initial three-year term ending in 2027 are ACTEC Fellows: Sarah S. Butters, Lora G. Davis, S. Gray Edmondson, Shaheen I. Imami, Kevin Matz, and Professor Ronald J. Scalise.

Also elected to a second three-year term ending in 2027 are Fellows: Leigh-Alexandra Basha, Gregory V. Gadarian, Miriam W. Henry, Joshua E. Husbands, and James D. Lamm.

"I am honored to recognize the College's newly elected Regents. I look forward to collaborating with all the members of the Board of Regents during this upcoming year," stated ACTEC President Susan D. Snyder.
