Dallas Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service

The Dallas Bar Association has established a Lawyer Referral Service that helps the public find a qualified attorney. If you need an attorney in the Dallas area, including Plano County and Collins County, Texas, then consider the benefits of using this community based non-profit service.

When you call, a staff member will handle the initial intake. For a $20 consultation fee, the Lawyer Referral Service will refer you to a qualified attorney and provide you with the attorney's name and contact information.

After the referral, you can contact the attorney for a 30 minute consultation to discuss your legal matter at no additional cost. During the initial consultation, the client and attorney are free to decide if further services should be provided and the attorney fees required for those additional legal services.

Call during normal office hours from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. If you call after normal business hours then the staff will contact you about the referral on the next business day.
