National Lawyers Guild - San Francisco

For the past 50 years, the San Francisco / Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild (NLGSF) has supported the resurgence of social movements demanding racial and economic justice in the Bay Area.

With a membership of over 700, NLGSF is the largest NLG chapter in the country. The Executive Director is Jay Kim.

For over 80 years, the National Lawyers Guild is dedicated to the principle that human and civil rights are more sacred than property rights, The NLG in San Francisco is a leftist legal organization that unites lawyers, law students, legal workers, and jailhouse lawyers.

The organization functions as a political and social force to protect communities and support lawyers in San Francisco, CA.
