How Does the Lawyer Directory in Mississippi Work?

The on-line directory is a way to obtain updated information on attorneys licensed to practice law in Mississippi. According to the Mississippi Bar Association’s website, the directory is updated each week.

The directory allows eligible attorneys to submit updates by logging into their account.

The directory includes the Active Membership-Members who are in good standing and authorized to practice law in Mississippi per  §73-3-120 MCA.

The Mississippi Bar Association is sensitive to the privacy of the attorneys who are members. The directory only provides the following information about the attorney:

• name;

• address;

• city;

• state;

• zip code;

• phone number;

• fax number;

• e-mail adress;

• date of admission; and

• law school.

You can use the directory to search by:

• first name;

• last name;

• firm name;

• city;

• state; or

• county.
