Attorney Referral Service in Sacramento County

The Sacramento County Bar Association sponsors a non-profit Lawyer Referral Service ("LRS"). For more than 50 years, this service has helped individuals and businesses throughout the greater Sacramento area find a qualified attorney. The service is certified by the California Bar Association and meets the American Bar Association standards for a lawyer referral service.

After you contact the SCBA, you will talk with a person on staff about your legal issue. If appropriate, the SCBA will refer you to an attorney. The administrative fee for the referral is $50. When you contact the attorney, the attorney will provide you with a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your legal concern. If you retain the attorney, the attorney will pay a percentage of the legal fees collected to the service.
